Mark Trutanich is a Seattle-based audio engineer who also specializes in recording studio design and installation.
Starting out Mark learned the trade of audio and music production at Triad Studios in Redmond, WA. During that time, Mark worked in various capacities including producing and engineering on hundreds of album projects, films, commercials, video/pc games and live television broadcasts.
In 2000, Mark’s interest in video production and love of sports led him to work with the Seattle Thunderbirds. This, along with his previous experience in audio production, opened up doors in 2001 at Fox Sports Northwest (now Root Sports) where he learned the ins and outs of live television broadcast as a sound engineer (A1/A2).
With over a decade of producing and engineering, Mark used his knowledge of the industry to creatively design and build audio systems from small writing stations and home studios to world class multi room facilities in Seattle, Los Angeles, New Orleans, Hawaii and various studios in Europe.
After recording at Rogue Island Studios, located in the historic Rainier Brewery Building in Seattle WA, Mark went on the road working sessions in England, Italy, France and other inspiring private studios off the coast of Europe before returning to Triad Studios’ new location inside a beautifully renovated church on Capitol Hill in Seattle, WA where he has worked out of since 2013.
